For a whole weekend Sala Baganza, in the province of Parma, celebrates Malvasia wine in the Malvasia Wine Festival.
Malvasia Festival is dedicated to Malvasia Colli di Parma, typical local wine recognizable by its yellow colour and its dry taste.
Three-days in tasting food and wines, enjoying cooking shows, ehibitions and workshops dedicated to food and wine.
Assignment of “Coseta d’Or” award for the best Malvasia of the year.
A “sparkling” program, more and more full of initiatives.
Visitors will taste wines of Colli di Parma, Parma’s products and recipes from other italian regions matched with wines and guided by experts sommeliers.
Historical Note: Rocca di Sala Baganza was the summer residence of Marie Louise of Austria, wife of Napoleon, which this year marks the bicentenary of his inauguration as the Duchess of Parma.
