Christmas Market and Living Nativity Scene – Pozzuoli
8-10 December. 18th-century-style Living Nativity Scene and Christmas Market.
The 8th edition of the Christmas Market and Living Nativity Scene takes place on the farm of “Giovanni Falcone” High School in Licola di Pozzuoli from Friday, December 8, to Sunday, December 10, 2017.
In the archaeological park and the greenhouses of the school, visitors can buy farm products (honey, oil, jam, preserves, fruit and vegetables) and other products such as food, handcrafted objects, plants and flowers.
Plus: Christmas gifts and decorations, delicious street food in the inns and the best recipes of the Neapolitan cuisine.
The main attraction of the event is the 18th-century-style Living Nativity Scene located in the ancient Domiziana street in the archaeological park. Over 300 actors perform about 20 different scenes: ancient jobs, peddlers, carpenters, cobblers, fishermen, peasants, shepherds, noblewomen and musicians.
