From Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17 and from Friday, March 22 to Sunday, March 24 2019, Lingotto Fiere, the main exhibition centre in Turin, celebrates Ireland and Saint Patrick’s Day with the Irish Festival. This extraordinary event is a unique occasion to discover typical food, folklore and music coming from Éire, in a joyful and warm atmosphere.
Irish Festival offers a rich program of activities in the spirit of tradition: Celtic weddings (only for couples who wish to celebrate it!), traditional games ( darts, yard of beer challenge, tug of war, horseshoes… ) traditional dances, historical reenactments, performances and entertainment, photography exhibits, exhibits of wind and string instruments, concerts of international bands and much more.
Visitors have also the chance to taste typical Irish food (beer braised beef shin, mixed grills, soups, smoked salmon, herb cheeses, apple desserts…) and try Irish dark beer or whiskey, Irish coffee, mead and other spirits.
