Books Maps Prints – Mantua
17-18 September 2022. Fair-market for print and book lovers

On September 17th and 18th 2022 Mantua Books Maps Prints (Mantova Libri Mappe Stampe) the fair-market for book lovers and paper collectors, but also connoisseurs and curious, returns to Mantua, in the cloister of the former Augustinian monastery of Sant’Agnese, now seat of the Francesco Gonzaga Museum.
Mantua Books Maps Prints was first organized in 1975 with the name of “The Frontispice”, and is the longest-running Italian fair-market dedicated to the world of book antiques and paper collecting.
This year the fair welcomes over 50 exhibitors from Italy and abroad, including specialized dealers, antique bookshops.
What visitors can find: valuable books, such as the sixteenth century’s ones that came out of the presses of famous printers, rarities and bibliographic curiosities from the sixteenth to the twentieth century, ancient geographical maps, books and old prints, maps, atlases, topographical views and plans, collections of engravings by great masters such as Albrecht Dürer, Marcantonio Raimondi, Giorgio Ghisi.
The event takes place twice a year, in May and September
