Bolzano Christmas Market
24 November-6 January 2018. Cinnamon, spices, mulled wine, homemade cakes.
Bolzano Christmas Market is one of the most anticipated events in South Tyrol every year.
The market opens its doors on Friday, November 24, 2017, up until Saturday, January 6, 2018.
For over a month, a festive atmosphere fills the streets and squares of the historic centre: flickering candles, joyful Christmas songs, decorations and the sweet flavour of Zelten (a cake made with nuts and dried fruit), apple Strudel, homemade biscuits and hot chocolate.
Magic is everywhere: perfumes, lights and colours of Christmas make this event a unique and unforgettable experience for children and adults.
About 80 house-shaped stalls display local products, such as wood-carved sculptures and handcrafted artistic objects. The event is also accompanied by traditional music, choirs and ensembles.
The five South Tyrol Christmas Markets have been awarded the “Green Event” certification because of their eco-friendly principles and their use of regional products.
Every day from 10 am to 7 pm.
