Porchettiamo – San Terenziano of Gualdo Cattaneo
May 2021 the celebration of the most famous Italian culinary product, the pork roast
In May 2021, the district of San Terenziano of Gualdo Cattaneo, in the province of Perugia, should have hosted the twelfth edition of Porchettiamo (Let’s eat porchetta), the festival dedicated to one of the oldest and most popular food of the Italian culinary tradition, porchetta.
For three days, the best producers gather in the Umbrian district to celebrate the Italian street food. A culinary journey starting from Umbria up to Tuscany, Lazio, Sicily, Emilia Romagna, Calabria, Marche.
Visitors can try the best Italian pork roast combined with craft beers, delicious street food from all over the country: Cicotto di Grutti (Slow Food Presidium), lampredotto with Ascoli stuffed olives, bread and panelle, testo cake, and much more.
Gluten-free beers and pork roast are also available!
There are also many alternative events: “Pork-run” (“Porcorriamo”), non-competitive 10 km running race, concerts and DJ sets, entertainment and workshops for kids about food education and guided tours to discover the district of San Terenziano…
