From December 11th to 14th 2025, a unique event for those keen on ice climbing takes place in Cogne, in Aosta Valley: te Cogne Ice Opening
At the Cogne Ice Opening the best international climbers come to Cogne and strive to find new flows in the evocative setting of Gran Paradiso.
Alpine mountain guides organize also climbing and dry-tooling (climbing rock with ice tools) workshops for everyone ( beginners, amateurs, advanced). Cogne Ice Opening offers also “ice-cold” cocktails, pizzas, barbecues and music.
The program may vary according to the weather and ice conditions.
