Liguria – Events
In Liguria there are many traditional events, some also of national and international importance, such as the Science Festival and Parole Spalancate Poetry Festival both taking place in Genoa. Every five years takes place also the wonderful Euroflora and, every four years the Historical Regatta of the Four Maritime Republics.
No doubt that the most famous event in Liguria is the Sanremo Festival, the most popular music festival in Italy and the most watched TV program every year.
The Fish Festival in Camogli, is also very well known, which got famous also for its huge 4-meter pan.
There are also many historical re-enactments that enliven Liguria such as the Torta dei Fieschi in Lavagna and A Journey into the Middle Ages in the walled village of Finalborgo.
