On December 17, 25, 26, 2023. And on January 1,6, and 7, 2024, the Living Nativity Scene of Ispica returns for its 26th edition, offering a timeless journey through history, traditions and ancient crafts with costumed re-enactors.

The path of the Living Nativity Scene winds along some peculiar rocky tracks. It starts from the historic center to the archaeological area of ​​Cava d’Ispica, in a setting made of stone and caves recalling the ancient Bethlehem.

All the ancient crafts are represented along the way, from shepherds bringing barrels to soap makers, from the embroiderers to the tinsmith, represented with their Sicilian names.

Ispica Nativity Scene has been the most visited in Sicily with over 20 thousand visitors overall.
