Chestnut and Black Truffle Festival – Bagnoli Irpino

Two weekends in October. Chestnuts, truffles and the delicacies of Avellino area.

The Chestnut and Black Truffle Festival takes place in Bagnoli Irpino, a small town in the Province of Avellino. The streets and shopping windows of the historic center are decorated in honor of the celebration that usually takes place on the last two weekends of October, on 20,21, 22, and 27,28, 29 October 2023.

Visitors can taste and buy chestnuts and truffles, but also meet local artisans and producers, discover Irpinia delicacies, take part in guided tours, chestnut picking and truffle hunting in the woods.

The Chestnut and Black Truffle Festival celebrates its 43rd edition.
