Cerevisia Craft Beers Festival – Fondo

23-25 May. Three days to taste beers in a beautiful area. Trento is the nearest town.

The Craft Beer Festival Cerevisia takes place in Fondo, Trentino, on 23-25 May 2019.
Cerevisia is the ancient Latin term to define “beer”, alcoholic beverage so familiar, but also so ancient: more than nine thousand years old.

This festival enhances the revival of craft beer production started about 20 years ago, both in house or made by new “mastri birrai” (brewmasters).

Thanks to these brewmasters, traditional methods of production have been rediscovered together with the attention in the choice of raw materials, and with the respect for beer natural time of maturation in order to have the best natural taste and flavour of this beverage, so ancient and so modern at the same time.
These beers are very different compared to the industrial beers we are used to drink. And they are also very different from each other. An experience full of taste!

The Festival of Craft Beers takes place in Fondo, Val di Non, and it offers three days to discover the flavour of Trentino craft beers. It also provides the opportunity to attend free workshops about beer, to learn the home production techniques and at the same time the mistakes that should be avoided.

The program starts on Friday night by a dinner where all dishes are paired with different types of beer. The dinner is organized in cooperation with Slow Food. Reservation is required.
During the festival, all participants can also vote for their favourite beer and Sunday afternoon the winning beers are awarded by the organization.
