The First World War Museum in Bersone, in Valle del Chiese, is a museum that shows the soldiers’ life during the Great War through the display of war materials, artifacts, and different nations uniforms of soldiers who died on the glaciers of the Adamello massif.

Among the materials exposed, visitors can see bombs, pistols, rifles, but also objects that testify to the daily life of soldiers in the trenches: kitchens, camp beds, sledges, skis, sniper shields, inkwells, helmets and hats, plans of the fortifications and gas masks.

The itinerary of the First World War on Mount Adamello is very interesting, where it is possible to visit an Italian high mountain hut for lookouts and an Austro-Hungarian gallery used as a shelter and warehouse for the troops.

The First World War Museum in Bersone is part of the Museums dedicated to the 15-18 War I in Trentino
